This adventure into creating a line of RVing apparel all started with a Facebook post. Someone posted for people to respond to, " You know you're a Full Time RVer if..." I thought the answers would make funny T-Shirts. But they didn't. I thought I could create something better than happy camper or RV there yet, neither one would I wear. So I embarked on a journey to learn Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator.
A year and eight months later I realized I had great ideas but was not an artist. Then an Adobe illustrator instructor gave me a list of four graphic artists, one being Josh Westbrook, whose work blew me away. I thought he'd be the one who'd never answer my email. He did, he loved my concept and my ideas and here we are. You can check him out at https://camefromnothing.myportfolio.com/ . I couldn't be more grateful to have him aboard.
There's only so much a logo can say and I believe https://camefromnothing.myportfolio.com/ captured it! RVers love the mountains, the ocean, the rolling countryside and the deep south. But for simplicity sake, RV Livin's logo depicts the mountains and the ocean (with a simple wave) contained in a compass.
The meaning is simple, RVers travel all over and love the diversity that our country has to offer. Actually what South and North America has to offer. Have compass, will travel.
I'm a Full Time RVer since March 31st, 2017 and have had many mishaps, many sad times and many great times. I've had losses and gains. My friends are excited for what I'm doing and some are confused and see it as escaping life's responsibilities. They just don't get it and that's okay with me. I would not trade this life for anything in the world and I'm capturing my experiences via RV Livin' Apparel!
